Praised by The Irish Times for a lyrical tapestry so rich it “hollers for a chance to be heard in a live setting,” this accomplished trio came together in 2012 after each had recorded and toured extensively as solo artists.

Over the past decade, The Whileaways have released four critically acclaimed, award-winning albums, earning high praise from the music press both at home and abroad while touring prestigious festivals and venues worldwide. Irish and UK audiences will also recognize them from their sell-out Bird on the Wire tours—a celebrated collaboration with singer Pauline Scanlon honoring the music of Leonard Cohen.

September 25th sees the release of their highly anticipated fifth studio album, When You Are Falling. Recorded at Black Mountain Studios in Co. Louth following a landmark period of sold-out shows, collaborations, and individual musical projects, the album features twelve original songs exploring love, loss, hope, connection, and renewal. Bringing together the distinct songwriting voices of Noriana, Nicola, and Noelie, When You Are Falling retains the rich, intricately woven harmonies that have defined their sound while pushing into vibrant new musical territory. The trio marks the release with an album launch tour, kicking off with a special seven-piece hometown performance at Galway Town Hall Theatre on September 29th.
