Following a landmark period of sold-out show runs, collaborative projects, and individual creative paths, Galway trio The Whileaways—Noriana Kennedy, Nicola Joyce, and Noelie McDonnell—return with their fifth studio album, When You Are Falling. Recorded high in the Cooley Mountains at Black Mountain Studios in Co. Louth with producer Alex Borwick, the twelve-track collection captures three of Ireland’s most distinctive folk voices at their most reflective and resonant.

Centred around themes of love, loss, hope, connection, and renewal, the album balances intimate acoustic arrangements with expanded, vibrant musical textures. It retains the trio’s signature, intricately woven vocal harmonies while giving each songwriter’s distinct narrative voice room to shine.
